VIDOCQ Equine Surgery Consulting (VIDOCQ-ESC) is an independent, highly specialised company focusing on equine surgery and orthopaedics. We are not affiliated with any corporate group and work closely with selected equine hospitals, veterinary practices and specialists throughout Germany.

In cooperation with the veterinary practice Dausend & Weyand-Regge at our Ottweiler-Fürth location, we offer on-site orthopaedic examinations.
Thanks to modern hospital-level equipment and extensive clinical experience, we provide targeted and efficient orthopaedic diagnostics and treatment – without unnecessary examinations or costs.
When are examinations scheduled?
Orthopaedic examination days are usually scheduled on a fixed two-week cycle (Thursday and Friday, with Saturday if required).
In urgent cases or when clinically indicated, individual appointments outside this schedule may be arranged following consultation.
How are appointments organised?
A personal consultation in advance is always possible.
Appointment scheduling is then coordinated via the partner veterinary practice at the location.
Nationwide Service
For specialised surgical procedures, we are also available by arrangement at equine clinics close to your location. In cases of unexplained poor performance, we additionally offer mobile dynamic overground endoscopy under exercise, using state-of-the-art high-end technology.
For specialized surgical procedures, we are also available—by prior arrangement—at an equine clinic near you.
